Meet the Pangolin, our new favorite mammal. These weirdly delightful, adorable new age dinosaurs are ready to steal your heart and roll away with it.

Oh, Hey, didn’t see you there… you want me to lick your face?

These lil’ dudes are known for rollin’ in balls when drama + danger is in the air ;) Pangolin comes from the the Malay word ‘penggulung’ which means ROLLLLERRR!

Hold up, mother-daughter adventure time?  #DanglinPangolin

Often mistaken for reptiles, these scaly-skinned rollers are actually mammals! We like to think of them as armored land sloths. They just keep gettin’ cooler.

When Pangolins stick their tongues out, a fully extended tongue can be up to 16” inches long - longer than their entire body length! It’s no wonder Pangolins have been known for great KISS shows throughout Asia + Africa ;)

These little guys need our help now, more than ever! Pangolins are the most trafficked mammal on earth. Just this month, 30 TONS of Pangolin parts were seized in Malaysia. We will be donating 10% back to Save Pangolins on all SpiritHoods Pangolin Shawl Sales.

    MORE FUN FACTZ

    • There are 8 different types of Pangolin species, 4 are found in Africa and 4 are found in Asia.
    • Pangolin scales are made from keratin, the same protein that makes up our own hair + nails!
    • The Giant Pangolin is the largest of the 8 species, the largest one found weighed in at 72.6 pounds! The Tiniest Pangolins weight in around 4-6 pounds (melting)
